Tribe of Noise and iStockphoto Launch Summer Games Competition for Independent Musicians
Amsterdam, NL/Calgary, AB (PRWEB) July 12, 2012
Tribe of Noise, a leading provider of all rights included music content and iStockphoto, today announced a collaborative effort to find and showcase talented musicians from around the globe through the launch of their summer games music competition. The purpose of this contest, which ends on July 31, is to help celebrate the tradition of the Worldwide Summer Games through creating music that embodies the spirit of competition.
The contest, powered by the Tribe of Noise platform, is looking for musicians to submit music that fits the nature of the Games through motivational pride filled lyrics or melodies. These will provide the perfect content for media buyers and media producers who may be working on Summer Games campaigns that require accompanying high quality music content.
Any artist may submit his or her music for consideration to the Tribe of Noise competition page. Winners will be cataloged in the iStockphoto database, creating revenue opportunity with over 11 million potential content buyers looking to license music for their projects. Winners will also gain exposure through other iStockphoto avenues such as promotion on the website?s landing page, newsletter features, content buyer promotion and artist profiles. The idea is that the winning content will facilitate any summer games related projects seeking sports themed music and beyond.
?Tribe of Noise?s community of emerging artists are contributing great music to the royalty free ecosystem,? said Rebecca Rockafellar, Senior Vice President of E-Commerce at Getty Images and General Manager of iStockphoto. ?As part of our commitment to showcasing talented artists and music to content buyers, we could not think of a better organization to work with on a project of this nature.?
?Collaborating with iStockphoto further accelerates our growth within the music licensing industry and creates yet another opportunity for our artists to gain exposure with their music for free,? said Hessel van Oorschot, CEO of Tribe of Noise. ?We are always looking for creative ways to partner with forward thinking companies such as iStockphoto to create revenue streams for artists that would otherwise be convoluted by traditional music management. Additionally we are able to ease the burden for content buyers who are seeking all rights included music for their business.?
Musicians may submit for free through Tribe of Noise: http://www.tribeofnoise.com/contest/istockphoto/. Every song that is uploaded will be listened to in full by Tribe of Noise music supervisors and winners will be announced on August 15.
Tribe of Noise?s online platform provides artists the chance to upload their music for free while also facilitating the needs of business professionals who are looking for all rights included content to round our their media projects.
