SongMeanings Launches New Layout and Features

SongMeanings is live with their brand new layout, SM4. It?s a total rebranding of the website. The launch not only brings a new look and feel to the site, but also new features that will further enhance the community that has been built over the past twelve years.

SM4 provides a new landing page with a crisp new logo and color scheme. Here users can still find the top viewed lyrics from the previous day, but can also quickly view new lyrics added, top artists, and a section for news and partner generated content. As the user makes their way through artist and lyric pages, they?ll find the ability to sort comments into different categories for easier reading.

?I think we?ve made a big jump forward in the comment section of the site,? Schiano said. ?Giving the user the ability to sort comments by type will allow them to get to what they are looking for in faster more convenient way.?

Co-Founders Michael Schiano and Brian Adams have been hard at work since the fall of 2011 to bring the new concepts to life. SongMeanings has more news, reviews, and interactive media. Schiano and Adams are also lining up artists to become more involved in the discussion of their lyrics. The duo has partnered with Pop-Break.com and PressPassLA.com to help supplement their content. They also have started to produce their own video and blog content and look forward to growing their user contributed pieces as well.

Adams and Schiano are also currently hard at work on iOS, Android, and Spotify applications that should be available soon. SongMeanings.net is one of the leading lyric websites on the internet. It has been owned and operater by Schiano and Adams since 1999. At the time of this release, the site has nearly 1.1 million lyrics listed with over 1.7 million comments logged.
