Warehouse21 and Darling Starr Productions present the Broadway musical "Rent." The music and the lyrics in ?Rent? are by Jonathan Larson. This musical has two acts and is comprised of pop, rock, operetta songs. This is an R rated musical. This event is a SantaFe.com Featured Event.

The show is directed by teen director Nikk Alcarez and Assistant Director 21-year-old Antoinette Farbrook, featuring 12 actors ages 17 to 26 years of age. Set in the East Village of New York City, "Rent" is about falling in love, finding your voice and living for today. Winner of Tony Awards in 1996 for Best Musical, Best Book of Musical, Best Original Score, Best Performance by a Featured Actor in a Musical and the 1996 Pulitzer Prize for Drama, "Rent" has become a pop cultural phenomenon with songs that rock and a story that resonates with audiences of all ages.
