During the next two weekends, the Penn?s Colony Festival presents a unique opportunity to experience many aspects of Colonial life, from battles and skirmishes to celebrations and world-class crafts. Visitors can actually experience 18th Century battle re-enactments; ?living history? camps that bring together the French, British, Scottish, Colonists and Native Americans; and a colonial era celebration known as "publick tymes."
The 29th Annual Penn?s Colony Festival is a great place to catch Pennsylvania?s Colonial experience with a unique blend of French & Indian era living history and 185 artisans showcasing work handmade in America. Each year the Penn?s Colony draws over 50,000 visitors from Pittsburgh and the tri-state region to the recreation of an Early American village setting on 12-acres of easy-walking, tree-shaded, park-like grounds in Saxonburg, PA.
